When should I start my periods?

Can I have sex during my period?
If both partners are happy to do so you can have sex during a period. Use both condoms and the pill/injection etc to reduce the risk of STIs and pregnancy.

My period is late - what should I do?
Periods can be late for many different reasons, so its best to see your GP/school nurse for advice. If you've had unprotected sex you can take a test after 3 weeks.

What is a normal period?
